This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is between Jordan Lockhart / OweWhat (“Developer”, “we”, “us”) and you (“End-User”). This Agreement is not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”).
By downloading or using OweWhat (“Licensed Application”), you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
Acknowledgement
Both the Developer and the End-User acknowledge that this Agreement is concluded between the Developer and the End-User only, not with Apple. The Developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Licensed Application and its content.
This Agreement may not conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, which the End-User acknowledges having had the opportunity to review.
Scope of Liscense
The license granted to the End-User is a non-transferable license to use the Licensed Application on any Apple-branded device the End-User owns or controls, and as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Apple’s Usage Rules allow that licensed applications may be accessed by other accounts through Family Sharing or volume purchasing; however, the Licensed Application’s in-app purchases and subscription features are not enabled for Family Sharing or volume purchasing, and therefore cannot be shared with other accounts.
Maintenance & Support
The Developer is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the Licensed Application.
Both the Developer and the End-User acknowledge that Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance or support services for the Licensed Application.
Warranty
The Developer is solely responsible for any warranties for the Licensed Application, whether express or implied, to the extent such warranties cannot be disclaimed under applicable law.
If the Licensed Application fails to conform to any applicable warranty, the End-User may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any, for the Licensed Application. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Licensed Application.
Any warranty obligations required under applicable law are solely the responsibility of the Developer. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer does not accept liability for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses or damages—including financial losses—that arise from the use of, or inability to use, the Licensed Application.
Product Claims
Product Claims
Both the Developer and the End-User acknowledge that the Developer, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the Licensed Application or the End-User’s possession or use of it, including but not limited to:
Product liability claims - Claims that the Licensed Application fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements. Claims under consumer protection, privacy, or similar laws (including those related to HealthKit or HomeKit, if applicable). This Agreement does not limit the Developer’s liability where such limitation is not permitted by law.
Intellectual Property Rights
Both the Developer and the End-User acknowledge that if a third party claims the Licensed Application or its use infringes their intellectual property rights, the Developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of the claim.
Legal Compliance
The End-User represents and warrants that:
They are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or designated as “terrorist supporting”.
They are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Third-Party Terms
The End-User must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the Licensed Application.
Example: Use of a VoIP application must not violate a user’s wireless data service agreement.
Third-Party Beneficiary
Both the Developer and the End-User acknowledge and agree that Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement.
Upon the End-User’s acceptance of this Agreement, Apple has the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this Agreement against the End-User as a third-party beneficiary.
Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated by the End-User or the Developer. The End-User’s rights under this license will terminate automatically if the End-User fails to comply with any part of this Agreement.
Use Restrictions
The End-User may not:
Copy, modify, or reverse engineer the Licensed Application
Rent, lease, or sublicense it
Use it for any unlawful purpose
Privacy
The End-User’s use of the Licensed Application is governed by the Privacy Policy:
